SA aims to make improvements

Jenny Reeves, Student Association president, has several goals for Mississippi State next year, such as expanding the shuttle system, getting students to register to vote in Starkville and expanding the accessibility of MoneyMate on campus and in Starkville.

Students have already been appointed to visit the University of Georgia to analyze how their widely-used shuttle system operates. "Hopefully, by looking at their system, we can help make our shuttle system here more efficient," Reeves said.

There has also been communication between Starkville leaders to increase the registration of voters and expand the availability of MoneyMate in Starkville.

The SA is also working to plan a Homecoming party in conjunction with the city, which would involve Starkville residents, students and alumni, Reeves added. "Matt Allen (past SA president) did a good job building a good relationship with the administration, which helps them listen and pay attention to the Student Association," she said.
